Bushbuck II safari: In full
This Botswana safari to the Okavango Delta and the Linyanti Reserve stays in three great safari game camps – 2 nights at Savuti, 3 nights at Chitabe and 3 nights at Seba. You will experience a real mixture of environments; the bird-watching and big game viewing are excellent, and you'll be staying at first-class camps which are small and intimate.
This safari to Botswana can easily be combined with a visit to see the Victoria Falls.
Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight will take you to Johannesburg.Days 2-3
2 nights at Savuti Camp (full board & activities) | Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana
In Jo'burg you'll connect to a scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun. From there you'll be flown to a small airstrip, for a short game-drive transfer through the bush to camp, where you'll be based for 2 nights of top game-viewing and birding at Savuti Camp.Days 4-6
3 nights at Chitabe Camp (full board & activities) | Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
A short flight takes you to Chitabe - a concession that includes a variety of landscapes. You will base here and search for wildlife with your knowledgeable guide for 3 nights. You usually reach camp in time for afternoon tea and your first safari activity at Chitabe Camp.Days 7-9
3 nights at Seba Camp (full board & activities) | Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
After another short flight, you land at Seba's airstrip. It is a scenic drive to camp, winding your way through ancient riverine forests and over open seasonal floodplains – although the time you'll take will depend on what game you see on the way. For a further 3 nights, your comfortable base is Seba Camp.Day 10
You'll probably have time for a morning activity before a short 40-minute light aircraft flight back to Maun. There you'll connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto a scheduled overnight flight back to London Heathrow.Day 11
Arriving back in London Heathrow, early in the morning, it's seldom as appealing as Botswana – but then you will have had a superb safari!See Prices & details for the precise dates/prices for this trip - and all the fine print.
