This 3 night visit to the eastern side of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park is designed to be easily combined with a safari in the Okavango Delta in Botswana: you stay at the beautifully constructed safari camp - Jack's Camp, in classically styled tents spread out on a small island of palm trees.

Days 1-3
3 nights at Jack's Camp (full board & activities) | Kalahari's Salt Pans, Botswana
Arriving in Maun, you'll be transferred, usually by light aircraft, to Jack's Camp for 3 nights. This is a beautiful camp set against a the magical backdrop of the Makgadikgadi saltpans. As big game is often scarce here, the camp focuses on unusual activities including guided walks, night drives, quad bike excursions (weather permitting), and visits to sites of archaeological interest. There is also a group of habituated meerkats nearby and you can have some exceptionally close and relaxed sightings here. Day 4
If you are at the end of your trip, you will fly from Maun back to London via Jo'burg. If just beginning, you will be transferred back to Maun to head off (usually by light aircraft) on your chosen Botswana safari.
