This luxurious Botswana safari takes you to top camps in the Linyanti Reserve and the Okavango Delta – staying for 3 nights at Vumbura Plains, 3 nights at Zarafa, and 2 nights at Little Mombo. This is one of our top big game safaris, with camps that offer the height of safari style and comfort, and some of the region's best game.

You'll notice that this itinerary covers similar areas as our Bushbuck itinerary , although at much more luxurious camps – and hence at a rather high cost.

These are individual trips, and can be tailor-made and adapted to suit you.

Day 1

Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight will take you to Johannesburg.

Days 2-4

3 nights at Vumbura Plains (full board & activities) | Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

The rooms and main areas at Vumbura Plains all overlook the floodplains of the Okavango...In Jo'burg you connect to a scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun, where you are met and flown by light aircraft (about 35 minutes) to the northern of the Okavango Delta. It's a short game-drive back to camp, in time for a late lunch. For your first 3 nights you enjoy the luxury and wildlife of Vumbura Plains.

Days 5-7

3 nights at Zarafa Camp (full board & activities) | Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana

<b>Zarafa Camp</b> overlooks the beautiful Zibadianja Lagoon in the Selinda Reserve.Today you take a short flight hop (about 35 minutes in the air) to the Selinda Reserve, and after landing are driven by 4WD back to camp, viewing game on the way. This is one of Botswana's top reserves, with great densities and diversity of game – and you enjoy 3 nights here at what's probably Botswana's most exclusive and opulent camp Zarafa Camp.

Days 8-9

2 nights at Little Mombo (full board & activities) | Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

<b>Little Mombo</b> is situated in a game-rich area in Botswana's Moremi Game Reserve.After another short flight hop (50 minutes), you arrive in Botswana's finest game area bar none: Mombo, on Chief's Island, in Moremi Game Reserve. The guides here are excellent, the camp delightful, and the game usually stupendous. We suggest that you spend your 2 nights here at the smaller of the two camps Little Mombo.

Day 10

After a light aircraft flight from Mombo to Maun (about 30 minutes), you'll connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto a scheduled overnight flight back to London Heathrow.

Day 11

Arriving back in London Heathrow, early in the morning, is always a bit of a letdown – but then you will have had an absolutely amazing safari!
