Ai-Ais Restcamp lies at the bottom of the canyon, beside natural hot springs. Its chalets and rooms are fairly spartan, but the restcamp does have a shop, a restaurant and a swimming pool – and some wonderful hot baths fed by a natural spring.
Ai-Ais always used to close during the hottest part of the year - from the second Friday in March, until 31st October. It's uncertain if this will change after major renovations at the start of 2008.
