The largest and most contemporary of the rooms at Chateau St Cloud are the Deluxe rooms in the main plantation house, or 'The Chateau'. These four rooms may lack any private outside space, but they make up for this with huge interiors, modern furnishings and smart fixtures and fittings. Though individually decorated, they have all been tastefully and thoughtfully decorated with high quality furniture and all the necessary kit for a cool, calm island retreat.

These open-plan rooms at Chateau St Cloud are spacious and boast tremendously high ceilings, making for particularly dramatic drapes in the mosquito net. There is a lounge area with a comfortable sofa and dark cane furniture, a romantic sleigh bed, complete with a duvet and lovely linen, in the bedroom and an absolutely enormous wardrobe.

There is a huge en-suite bathroom with a corner bath, lots of mosaic and a shower big enough for a small party!

Light floor tiles, white walls, simple floral pictures and mirrors make the place light and airy throughout, and for extra chill even the glasses are stored inside the fridge. There are attractive details are everywhere, from intricate stained glass arches of flowers around the entrance to the eclectic artifacts and seed pods displayed in the lobby.

In our mind, these deluxe rooms at Chateau St Cloud are some of the nicest rooms on the island and do make a particularly welcome retreat in the heat of the day.
