TreeTree-house #7, 'Saba', has been the most popular tree-house with agents and guests at Chole Mjini from the day it was finished. Chjole's owner, Jean, admits that the reasons for this escape him; he maintains that Saba is gorgeous but no more so than Nne, Mbili, Moja, his favorites Tatu and Sita ... and Jean does like Tano a lot, too.

The advantages of tree-house #7 are that it is one of the biggest tree-houses at Chole Mjini, and can easily house two adults and two children in. It has a lovely Flamboyant tree and also some of the ruins – giving it a great atmosphere. This tree-house's tea house offers fabulous sunset views over the beach and it is often provided with delicious breezes. Additionally, it also has a large sun-deck over the beach. The toilet is new, light and airy and there is a shower.

This is the only tree-house at Chole Mjini which has a good view of Mafia Island, across the water. There are a few electric lights to be seen there, in the distance – and Jean maintains that these have caused the fireflies to disappear from the Mangroves in front of Saba.

The disadvantages of tree-house #7 are that it is one of the biggest tree-houses, and it is on the beach ... so it can sometimes be a little noisy in the morning, when the fishermen of Chole leave or return but that lends character.
