The newly rebuilt Desert Homestead is excellent value with 20 large, airy rooms that are tastefully decorated in natural tones.
When it's cold, candle-lit dinners are served in the romantic indoor dining room, warmed by a fire place; in balmy weather eat on the wide veranda with lanterns under the stars.
Activities include horse-riding, sun-downer drives, guided walks and excursions to Sossusvlei and the Naukluft Mountains.
Riding: Horseriding is the main activity however you will need intermediate level riding experience as horses are not riding school ponies. There are two excursions daily, one at sunrise and the other at sunset.
