Elephant House is a great lodge just on the border of the Addo Elephant Park. With a great position, see our map of the Cape, Elephant House offers a great opportunity to explore the game park.
The accommodation is very comfortable with the 9 rooms offering large king-size beds and spacious en-suite bathrooms. All come with air-conditioning and standard amenities. There are also two cottages which are perfect for families with young children.
The main lodge offers further luxuries with a club room, two pools and a large manicured garden. The restaurant creates typical Africa and international cuisine, trying to use local produce and South African wines where possible.
Addo Elephant Park is a great place to safari within South Africa. It is a must for elephant-watching and there is also very varied gaming opportunities, with lion, leopard, and buffalo all within the park.
Family holidays: The Elephant House, set just outside the Addo Elephant Park, is a perfect base for the family. The park provides a great opportunity for malaria free, self-drive or organised safaris. There are two cottages which are perfect for families and the lodge has a restaurant and 2 swimming pools.
