Footsteps Across the Linyanti is a mobile tented camping experience within Chobe Enclave, a private reserve that borders the western boundary of Chobe National Park – it is run by the team who run the Linyanti Bush Camp .
Chobe Enclave offers a good diversity of wildlife. The flooded marshland attracts a variety of birdlife whilst herds of elephant and buffalo gather at its edges at certain times of the year. Along the marsh edge is a stretch of riverine woodland and areas of tall cathedral mopane trees which offer cover for the shyer animals, including leopard and roan antelope.
Further back from the marshland, thicker mopane woodland and open clearings are the perfect habitats for many other animal species including wild dog and lion.
Activities from here focus on walking safaris. Distances walked each day will vary depending on your interests and what you find - there's always plenty to see, so expect an energetic walk, but not a route march! The camp is likely to move at least once during your stay depending on where the wildlife action is.
This is a fantastic way for adventurous safari-goers to explore a wild and remote wilderness area on foot, with an experienced and knowledgeable guide who will interpret and bring to life every aspect of the Botswana bush.
