The two Superior Suites are much larger then the Standard Rooms and Suites, and are both situated right on the beach. On a vast deck, the Superior Suites have a two storey lounging area, a huge tent/room and also a large plunge-pool.

The two story building is open-fronted for views out over the sea and has two lounging areas. The ground floor is furnished with two sun-loungers and also a dining table which is perfect for secluded dinners. Then above this is a more relaxed lounge area with sumptuous cushions scattered across the floor. The view from here is beautiful.

Down on the deck you will find a further two sun-loungers and umbrella and a large circular plunge-pool.

The tents in the Superior Suites are much larger than in the other two room categories – quite vast in comparison - with a good size lounging area and plenty of storage space for clothes. However they are still quite rustic in style – with wooden floors and draped white fabric to mask the tents canvas roof and walls. They also have a ceiling fan and a mini-bar that is stocked with complementary drinks.

The en-suite bathrooms are set behind a stone dividing wall and are spacious and bright. There is much more space in these bathrooms than in the other types of room.

His-and-hers sinks are set into a beautiful wooden surface and there is a flush toilet. Then the best feature of this bathroom is the vast twin hot-and-cold showers.

Custom made soaps and shampoos are provided – these are made in England using the scents of spices found locally on Pemba and Zanzibar.
