Guesthouse Indongo is situated in a quiet residential area of Swakopmund just 200 m from the beach and a short walking distance from the shopping facilities. The guesthouse is owned by the Protea hotels Group, who also run the Pelican Bay Hotel in Walvis bay.
The bright yellow building of Guesthouse Indongo is hard to miss, and once inside, the bright yellow continues into the six rooms, rainging in size, all with en-suite shower rooms. The rooms here are reminiscent of the standard 'hotel room' found in other hotel chains, with telephones, DSTV, a kettle, a fan, a safe, coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, a fridge, bathrobe and slippers supplied. The family suite and the executive room have under-floor heating and some rooms have access to a small garden with braai facilities.
The communal area of the guesthouse consists of a large lounge with smaller lounge areas and a sun room with a wide screen TV leading off it. The breakfast area is next to this and includes a smaller table for children.
The guesthouse can book most activities on offer in Swakopmund.
In conclusion… Guesthouse Indongo's quiet location makes it a peaceful place to spend the night, and the rooms are comfortable with good facilities.
