The small, friendly Ilala Lodge has been a favourite of ours for many years – for it's great location and unassuming style. It's five minutes' walk from either the Falls themselves, or Victoria Falls town.
Ilala Lodge has 32 rooms, all with en suite toilet and shower, a pool, a restaurant, a comfortable lounge and a very pleasant atmosphere. Its service and food are attentive, and it's good value.
Alternatively, until the politics here improves, many of our visitors to this area know that it's just as easy to see the sights when staying on the other side of the river, in Livingstone (in Zambia).
