The rooms at Jacana Camp are accessed by short wooden walkways and several steps up to small balconies which look over the flood-plains surrounding the island. On the balconies you will find two director's chairs and a small table. The tents are zip-fronted. Although the tents are quite small compared to some of the other camps in this area, you do have everything you need, including an open-sided wardrobe and shelves, bedside tables and lamps, a fan and plug sockets. All the rooms have safes and you are also provided with dressing gowns, mosquito repellant, bug spray and mosquito coils which are lit nightly by the staff.
