In the south-eastern corner of , Vwaza Marsh Game Reserve is the small Kazuni Safari Camp; this is Vwaza's only camp and it stands amongst a grove of acacia trees. It is a simple camp with no electricity, but it does have a great bush atmosphere at night thanks to glowing paraffin lamps. Kazuni has four reed-and-thatch en-suite chalets, each with its own veranda overlooking the picturesque Lake Kazuni. The bar/dining area is very open, ideal for watching elephants stroll through camp.
The bird-watching is also superb, from goliath herons and rare white-winged starlings to pearl-spotted owls. Activities include fascinating walks through the miombo woodland and around the lake, and a network of game drives.
