Situated just outside the eastern edge of Etosha National Park, set in its own small reserve, Mokuti Lodge is the largest 'lodge' in this area; in many ways Mokuti is really a hotel in the bush.
Each of Mokuti's chalets is set under cool thatch, and equipped with en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a telephone, a fridge, a hairdryer, safety deposit facilities, electric shaver plug (220 volts) and satellite TV with various channels.
If you don't want to drive yourself around Etosha, then Mokuti Lodge offers daily guided game drives into Etosha National Park in open-topped vehicles.
In 2008 Mokuti Lodge was taken over by the international 'Kempinski' chain of large, up-market hotels. (It had been run by the sourthern African chain, Namib Sun Hotels.) Hence it's now becoming known as the Kempinski Mokuti Lodge.
