Linyanti Bush Camp stands on the edge of the Linyanti marshes in a private reserve known as the 'Chobe Enclave' – which borders the western boundary of Chobe National Park.
The owners of the camp, Beks and Sophia, have been working in camps in Zimbabwe and Botswana for many years and Beks is a Zimbabwean 'Professional Guides License' – which makes him one of the best safari guides in the business. Their passion and knowledge has transferred to their staff and you will find very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides here.
The Linyanti Marshes are now largely dry, with just one waterway through the area, but that attracts large populations of elephant and buffalo during the dry season (June – October). South of this are plenty of wide open spaces; an environment allows you to spot game such as wild dog, cheetah and lion a long way off. This area of the marshes is also known for its high concentration of aardvark, which you might be lucky enough to see on one of the night drives. The area is very good for bird-watching, in particular there is a high concentration of raptors and owls.
Bordering the marshes is a stretch of riverine woodland and areas of tall cathedral mopane trees which offer cover for the shyer animals, including leopard and roan antelope. Along with thicker mopane woodland, these three different environments offer a diverse and exciting game viewing experience.
Linyanti Bush Camp is a small intimate camp with six spacious, en-suite tents. The lounge and dining room area has an assortment of comfortable chairs, a small bar, library and a collection of interesting antiques acquired by Beks and Sophia over the years. The tents and main area appear simple from the outside and offer understated luxury on the inside.
The activities include 4x4 game drives (day and night) and guided walks – and the guiding here is one of the camp's strengths; it's excellent.

Wildlife: Linyanti Bush Camp stands east of Chobe, in a private reserve where walking, off-road driving and night drives are allowed.
