Set amongst the trees and elevated onto individual wooden platforms with large shaded verandas, the five spacious tents at Little Kwara are stylishly furnished.

The bedroom area has twin or double beds made up with crisp, white linen, backed by a wooden headboard, with bedside tables and lamps. To the side are two large wooded chairs, a table with filtered water, and a selection of magazines on another table. Accessed by huge sliding doors facing the beds, the balcony has some more chairs from where you can take in the great views.

Separated from the sleeping area by a canvas dividing wall you'll find the bathroom. The claw-footed bath takes pride of place; however there are also double basins and a vast mirror. There is plenty of storage with a big open wardrobe and a stand for your bag. Two separate doors lead off this space – one to a flush loo and the other to a partly-covered outside shower.
All the usual complementary items including mosquito repellent, bug spray, shampoo and shower gel are provided.

Please note that the beds do not have mosquito nets, but as far as they possibly can be, the tents are “insect-proof”.

Paraffin storm lanterns are put into the outdoor shower and bathroom at night, to give extra lighting.
