Lizenstein Guesthouse, in the sleepy town of Uis. A thriving community was once centred on a large tin mine here. A few years ago the mine closed and now the town follows a much quieter pace of life.
The guesthouse is situated in the centre of this small town and offers a good stepping stone into Damaraland and sites such as Brandberg – Namibia's highest mountain.
With 6 en suite rooms, the accommodation is basic, but comfortable. A campsite is also available.
Meals are available in Guesthouse Lizenstein's dining area where the cuisine is home-cooked Euro-Namibian fare. A barbeque area is available for any travellers wishing to self cater.
After a day's drive the swimming pool area is ideal for relaxing.
