Matyholweni Rest Camp is an easily accessible camp located at Sunday's River Mouth near the coastal town of Colchester, just 3km off the N2 highway.
Matyholweni, which means 'in the bush' in Xhosa, is a good place to spot bushpig, bushbuck, and the flightless dung beetle, and for bird enthusiasts the stanley's bustard and the sunbird are sometimes seen here.
Matyholweni Rest Camp offers a choice of 10 cottages and two family cottages. The cottages each have two single beds with bathrooms with a toilet and a shower. The rooms also have barbecue facilities and a kitchen with a fan, fridge and a microwave.
The family cottages offer the same facilities as the cottages, but they also have a single sleeper couch, which sleeps one or two children.
Activities offered from the camp include self-drive game viewing. There is access to the beach at Sundays River Mouth. Operators in the nearby town of Colchester offer river cruises and canoe trails. The town also has a supermarket, a petrol station and a choice of restaurants.

Little thatched cottage in Addo
The accomodation was lovely with veranda to sit outdoors on but view was spoiled by bushes in front needing trimming. This south part of Addo has very few animals - few antelope but plenty of birds.
