Hidden amongst palm trees overlooking the Busanga Plains, in the remote north of Kafue National Park, Musanza Bushcamp is a new small camp, with just four small, simple walk-in tents. These have twin bedrolls with cotton duvets on stretcher beds, luggage racks, en-suite toilets and hot bucket showers. It's been designed to maintain essential camp comforts, whilst keeping a real feel of adventure in the wilderness.
It's the sister-camp of Ntemwa Bush Camp, and the venue for some great-value trips to northern Kafue, based on the Puku safari.
Birdwatching: Kafue National Park's an excellent park for bird-watching and Musanza Bushcamp stands right on the Busanga Plains – a great location for bustards and open-country raptors.

Wildlife: Big game doesn't come much more exciting than the on the open floodplains of Kafue's Busanga Plains. The highlights are many, but who could forget prides of lion stalking lorge herds of red lechwe and puku, using the natural drainage ditches of the floodplains for cover. It can be amazing to watch!
