Situated just outside the eastern side of Etosha National Park on the Onguma reserve, the fairly new Onguma Tree Top Camp is in an ideal location for visiting the park. None of the Expert Africa team have yet visited this new lodge personally, but here is what we know about it so far.
It a very small camp ideally suited to those who enjoy a sense of remoteness and adventure. Built on wooden stilts amongst the trees it offers great views over the waterhole directly in front of it and thus offers good game viewing opportunities.
Onguma Tree Tops has only four thatched and canvas chalets which can be partially open on one side for a real wilderness feel if you wish, otherwise just you can just roll down a canvas cover. There is a central main area which has a lovely restaurant which too over-looks the waterhole.
