Rosenhof Country House is located on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn on the road leading to the Cango Caves. It's a stylishly renovated farmhouse dating back to 1852 with original yellowwood floors and ceilings and antiques.

Rosenhof has 14 individually decorated rooms each with air-conditioning, satellite television and a telephone. Two of these rooms are suites with their own private pool and patio with views towards the Swartberg Mountains.

There are a couple of cosy lounges with fireplaces where you can relax and admire works of art by local South African artists. There is also a Wellness centre with a gym, sauna and Jacuzzi and facials and massages are also provided.

Outside are manicured gardens with a pool and there is also a beautiful rose garden after which Rosenhof is named.

Rosenhof is a good base to explore Oudtshoorn or visit the nearby Cango Caves and ostrich farms.
