Sabora Plains Tented Camp is a beautiful, 1920s style tented camp set out on the plains. Flanked by two old Chevrolets, the main tent is filled with deep-pile Persian rugs, solid wood, grand campaign antique furniture and interesting antiques.

Each of its six air-conditioned tents have original four poster beds, wardrobes and bureaus, and velvet curtains – as well as private en-suite toilets and outdoor showers. Every two tents share a library lounge, and there's a central heated plunge pool, jacuzzi and a tennis court constructed from termite mound clay. When the migration passes through, wildebeest and zebra literally surround this camp – a phenomenal (and noisy) affair!
