Stanley Safari Lodge

 - Livingstone & Victoria Falls, Zambia

Bordering the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park near Livingstone, Stanley Safari Lodge offers a peaceful base from which to explore Victoria Falls.

One of our team will be visiting this lodge in the upcoming months, but here is some information provided by the lodge owners in the meantime:

From every room at Stanley Safari Lodge, you can see the distant views of the spray of the Victoria Falls.Set on a hill overlooking unspoilt bush, only 3 km birdsview from the river and the Victoria Falls, Stanley is a perfect base from which to explore the delights of the area.

You can dine outdoors under the stars, in the privacy of your suite, in the wine cellar or even in the infinity pool. The African style and furnishings of the lodge reflect the textures and patterns of Africa, and your hosts will do their best to make your stay a memorable one.

The open-sided Main House has been designed with space and views in mind. Enjoy sundowners in the African style lounge, European-style cuisine with an African twist in the dining room or spend some quiet time in the library or upper deck discovering the secrets of Africa.

This half open house has a truly African feel, while the colonial closed suites with private plunge pool evoke the elegant era of Stanley and Livingstone. However, at Stanley Safari Lodge most rooms are half open, which enables you to absorb the sights and sounds of the African bush fully.
