Deep within the Skeleton Coast National Park, Terrace Bay is a long (six-hour) drive from Swakopmund, and the most northerly point accessible by vehicle.
Here you can stay in bungalows with private toilets and showers. They're recently upgraded the facilities and the rooms are now simply but nicely furnished. The food has improved from a low base but do not expect haute cuisine! All in all it is not the best camp in Namibia but it is the only place to stay for a very long way and gives you a very good feel for the isolation of the Skeleton Coast.
