Danforth Lodge

Double Room

The rooms at Danforth are light and airy, and a very good size. They open onto a small verandah which leads down to the main lawn area. Each room has a large four poster double or two twin beds, with mosquito nets provided.

Each room has a small library, two bedside tables, a dressing table style desk with coffee and tea making facilities, a flask of water, glasses and information about the lodge and the surrounding area.

There is plenty of storage space in long built in wardrobes along the side of one wall of the room, with both shelves and hanging space for longer clothes.

A long luggage rack is situated at the end of the bed and is sturdy enough for the heaviest of suitcases , and the rooms also have two mirrors, one above the desk and a full length one next to the wardrobes.

The bathrooms at Danforth are at the side of the room – en suite and private – and very comfortable and roomy. The showers are hot and powerful and plenty of towels are provided – a large bath, separate basin, flush toilet and various shelves complete the room. Soap, shampoo and body lotion are provided.
