Day 1

The Makokola Retreat is built alongside a long, golden beach on the southern shores of Lake MalawiAfter your safari you will be driven to the southern Lakeshore where you will spend the next 4 nights relaxing at The Makokola Retreat. This comfortable resort is located along a lovely palm-lined sandy beach and offers endless lake-based activities as well as trips to nearby villages and missions.

Days 2-4

3 nights at The Makokola Retreat (full board) | Shore of Lake Malawi, Malawi

The Makokola Retreat is built alongside a long, golden beach on the southern shores of Lake MalawiMakokola Retreat is a lively place, offering activities that include sailing, boating and snorkelling on Lake Malawi. It has two separate swimming pools, one with an adjacent bar, as well as facilities for tennis and squash, and a nine-hole golf course scattered with baobabs. Alternatively just relax and enjoy the facilities available at the resort.

Day 5

Today you will be transferred by road, a journey of approximately four hours, to Lilongwe airport in time for your onward flight.
