This add-on spends 2 nights at Kaya Mawa on Likoma Island, followed by 2 nights at Nkwichi Lodge on the Mozambican shore of Lake Malawi.
Day 1
1 night at Kaya Mawa (full board) | Likoma Island, Malawi
After your safari you will be driven to Lilongwe where you will catch your plane to LIkoma Island. Here you will spend the next 2 nights relaxing at Kaya Mawa. Located on the southern tip of the island this comfortable lodge has been recently upgraded. It has 10 stone and thatch chalets, some perched on the rocks and others are located on the beach.Day 2
1 night at Kaya Mawa (full board) | Likoma Island, Malawi
Likoma Island has some of the best freshwater snorkeling and diving in the world and Kaya Mawa has a well equipped dive centre. For the more active its possible to go snorkeling, diving or boating, or you could just relax on the patio in front of your chalet or on the beach.Day 3
1 night at Nkwichi Lodge (full board) | Manda Wilderness, Mozambique
Today you will be transferred by boat across to the Mozambican side of Lake Malawi, where you will stay the next 2 nights at Nkwichi Lodge. Located in the Manda Wilderness Reserve, Nkwichi has eight large, spacious thatched chalets tucked away in the trees overlooking the lake.Day 4
1 night at Nkwichi Lodge (full board) | Manda Wilderness, Mozambique
Activities here include snorkeling, kayaking, birdwatching, walking and visits to nearby villages. The beach here is the finest and whitest on the lakeshore and is a good spot to relax.Day 5
