"Our two weeks in Southern Tanzania and the Quirimbas in Mozambique was excellent. The variety worked very well - wildlife, culture, beach - and all the places we stayed in were very good indeed. We were not disappointed at all by any of the accommodation and if anything they exceeded our expectations.

This is the third time we have used Expert Africa and we would use them again, as well as recommend to others. The quality of service is excellent, as well as the attention to detail, and the efficient dealing with last minute hiccups. Ellie Dunkels created a plan B for our departure inc ase we couldn't get through Nairobi Airport, which had been decimated by fire, and rearranged, at no extra cost, our flights back when LAM cancelled our flight. "The trip was excellent experience a lifetime experience I would easily say. Everything was planned excellent by Expert Africa and I would like to thank you about.

I have one minor issue with your instructions where nowhere I could see that the USDs accepted in Tanzania had to be issued after 2000 and in Mozambique after 2006 I think. This created some friction and uncentanty when I was paying in cash and it made me feel uncomfortable close to the end of the trip when I was running low in cash that it was accepted.

Aside that congratulations to your planning, but I would like you to inform everybody about the small extra costs like departure taxes from Mozambiqual airports as well as transit visas to Tanzania and so on.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Apply as much pressure as you can to the hotels for value for money as well as to the governments to reduce visa costs. A USA visa costs 30 euros a Tanzanian one 50 (one entry) and a Mozambiquan 80 and if you wanted a transit you had to another 30 for Tanzania. "The trip itself was fantastic. Maybe we should have stayed an extra night in the selous in order to stay at a different camp. The selous safari camp was the only one to offer single night accomodation.

We found the advice and assistance of Ellie in planning our holiday most helpful and informative. She was also very patient with us!

"Having been on 10 previouse safaris in most of Southern Africa we were disappointed with our trip to the three camps in Zambia. Apart from a general paucity of game and probably still feeling the effects of poaching and constant either accidental or deliberate bush fires in Lufupa the Puku safari as set out in the brochure and the animal information on each camp did not match what we found generally but specifically at Lufupaas regards the camp and game. Whilst we had the same driver and guide it was asking a lot of him to drive and spot animals without a spotter to help.

The Musanza camp experience was good and both Lufupa and Musanza gave a real authenticity of being secluded and out in the bush. Lunga was a good way to finish with a bit more luxury.

"Many many thanks to Expert Africa, particularly Lucy, for arranging such a fantastic trip for us. This was a 50th birthday special holiday and it was everything and more than we expected. Travelling was extremely painless considering we did 11 flights in 18 days! Everything on time and the quickest immigration and customs we've ever experienced. Camps fantastic, a really good combination of both wet and dry safari and our week in Quilalea was the icing on the cake.

We have recommended Expert Africa to everyone and will certainly get in touch again when we go back to Africa, which will be in the not so distant future. What an amazing country and people.
