"My Sep 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 4 Sep 2012 and 1 Oct 2012
"Great experience. On whole, accomodation was excellent and to be recommended. Seen outstanding scenery, great game viewing and met some great and friendly people.

The reservations made by Expert Africa worked well and there were no hassles which added to the whole relaxed trip.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No. We were very pleased with everything Gwynneth did for us and her advice. To be recommended" Read full review: 27 nights in Africa; 13 on a Namibia trip

"My Sep 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 4 Sep 2012 and 14 Sep 2012
"A year in the planning, returning to 3 places previously visited, so expectations high and we had an amazing time.

We drove nearly 3000kms in 9 days and saw some unforgettable wild life. We are already planning a return for your 30th anniversary to the Caprivi Strip!.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

No, unless you can instigate direct flights from the UK!" Read full review: 10 nights in Africa; 8 on a Namibia trip

"Namibian adventure 2012"

I visited Namibia between 3 Sep 2012 and 26 Sep 2012
"The longest and best trip, apart from only seeing 2 lions. We always pass on our experiences to interested friends and recommend Expert Africa. For those who are interested in the wild life we emphasise the need to stay at least 2 days at each destination, only using 1night stops to break long journeys. We also recommend full board and activities packages. This avoids carrying a lot of cash and use of credit cards.

Many thanks to Sabina for her organisation. Diana nearly always benefitted from accommodation close to the main area.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

An annual update of the prices in Chris McIntyre's manual ( the bible ) would be helpful." Read full review: 23 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip

"Wonderful country"

I visited Namibia between 3 Sep 2012 and 14 Sep 2012
"Very enjoyable holiday only slightly marred by side effects of Malarone which were not necessary as in early September it was so dry and cold in early morning that there was not a mosquito in sight. Ea 's arrangements were as usual very efficient.

Namibia is a lovely country with welcoming people and would fully recommend a visit to anyone as I would also recommend EA.

Thank you for your assistance." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Namibia trip

"My Sep 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 3 Sep 2012 and 21 Sep 2012
"Overall this was a great trip. It was tiring because of the amount of driving on roads which were not as good as we expected.

If we did this trip again, we would spend 3 nights rather than two in some locations to allow for a bit of relaxation time. We stayed in 10 locations and the longest stays were 2 nights. Allowing for travelling (usually between 5 and 7 hours between camps) this meant we only had one full day in any location. Inevitably, we did as much as we could on these full days. The overall effect was we saw a lot but were quite tired by the end of the holiday.

The scenery driving round some parts of the country was awesome. Game viewing in Etosha was not as good as Botswana last year and large areas of the park had been destroyed by fire.

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

Bo good to be able to fly more directly to Windhoek (e.g. via Frankfurt). Build more relaxation time into your suggested self-drive holidays." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 17 on a Namibia trip

"My Aug 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia and 1 other country between 29 Aug 2012 and 9 Sep 2012
"expensive but unforgettable.

Most of the lodges are so nice one wants to live there, at least for a long time. Gwynneth was extremely helpful and efficient when we needed her (we had to made some last minute arrangements because we were not able to cross the border to Botswana - our fault) but she fixed it and the outcome was excellent" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 6 on a Namibia trip

"Return to the Land of Contrasts"

I visited Namibia between 26 Aug 2012 and 13 Sep 2012
"This trip was designed to blend new places with old friends and it worked very well. We certainly enjoyed our return trip and it was interesting going back to some of the places we visited last time to see how they had developed.

Etosha turned out not to be as busy as expected and many times we had the pleasure of viewing waterholes alone. With one exception the camps we stayed in did not disappoint and the gravel driving was a feature of the trip not something to be feared. It took us through some of the most outstanding landscapes and to the most beautiful places." Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 16 on a Namibia trip

"My Aug 2012 trip"

I visited Namibia between 13 Aug 2012 and 28 Aug 2012
"Incredible!

I'd also like to mention the other activities we booked:

- Sea kayaking at Walvis Bay with Jeanne: probably the surprise hit of the trip. We had no idea what this would be like, and were all thrilled by what fun it was. Jeanne is such an enthusiastic guide.

- hot air ballooning: amazing, what an experience. And followed by an excellent breakfast hosted by the charismatic pilots. I'm so glad we decided to splash out on this." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 7 on a Namibia trip

"We'll return to celebrate some anniversary!"

I visited Namibia between 20 Jul 2012 and 2 Aug 2012
"Nothing much to say other than: it has been several months since we came back and we still get excited remembering our honeymoon.

Everything was worth it and Expert Africa really helped us out. Their suggestions were spot on and their assistance was invaluable in planning such a trip to a destination completely unknown to us.

Our only regret was not having taken more time to see more of Namibia (we wish to go see the Caprivi region and Damaraland). We'll have to leave that for the next time we visit the country!" Read full review: 13 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip
