Like Camp Kipwe we really loved this place. Small, quiet, with friendly staff who gave provided excellent attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
"Tented rooms" were superb with spacious dressing and bathroom area.
Large pool and excellent well furnished main lodge complete with indoor fire.
"Set" menu but will offer something else if you ask.
Animals roam around - especially at night. We were awoken by Kudu right outside our tent munching leaves from the bushes and then "relieving" themselves rather noisly - where could you get an opportunity like this in the UK! - we thought it was really funny!
Access to the eastern part of Etosha through the Von Lindequist gate very convenient.
Highly recommend this camp.
Mushara Bush Camp
This is a very comfortable lodge with good facilities and very good food.
The pool was excellent and the tents very comfortable and well appointed.
Chilling out at Mushara
Well, we chilled out for an afternoon anyway, after driving through the park from Okaukuejo, and took advantage of the spacious pool. This is a very smart lodge with welcoming staff and very comfortable tented rooms. On the first evening they did a communal braai buffet with all the tables arranged in a circle round the fire and the other night we had individual dining tables. The food was good and very well-presented.
We chose to spend a second day in Etosha ourselves, rather than do a Mushara drive. Whereas the arrival day was mostly zebra and springbok, this time it was mostly elephant and giraffe. We spent ages at one waterhole watching more than 30 elephants having their bathtime, the mums throwing water, mud and dust around like no tomorrow and the kids just larking about - absolutely fascinating.

Wonderful. Considering this is the cheapest of the Mushara collection accomodation, we all thought it was amazing.
It was comfortable, had a good sized pool which was warmer than others we had used, and lovely food. A set dinner each night, but the staff were happy to provide alternatives if needed.
It has a particularly good gift shop, with lovely bead necklaces.
Mushara Bush Camp review
Very new camp fairly close to the park gate. Tented accommodation which was much more luxurious than we had expected - lovely rooms. Reception and the dining room / seating areas were very attractive.
We had dinner inside the first night - the second was outside with a barbeque. The second night was very busy - everyone sat in a horseshoe in a circular enclosure and had to go up for their food. I had asked at lunchtime for a vegetarian meal (too full of meat by then) and was very impressed when I got to the front of the queue at the barbeque to be presented with a lovely pasta dish which they had waiting for me without me asking!
Had an early morning start in the park then a late lunch at the lodge with some lovely chilled SA wine before we spent an afternoon relaxing at the pool which was pretty busy but there was plenty space and lots of loungers etc
Again friendly happy staff who all came out for an evening singing and dancing.
Mushara Bush Camp review
Great new tented camp.
Food excellent. Good open communal eating and sitting area. Individual tents in the bush (no view). Great for families with young children.
Good for exploring eastern end of Etosha.
Pampering at Mushara Bush Camp
Beautifully designed lodge and chalets, with many little thoughful extras. Very comfortable tents, set out in the bush. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Pity they didn't have good stocks of wine though.
Hot water bottles in the feather covered beds were heaven.
Staff were all very helpful and pleasant.
A place for relaxing.
