We didn't have a price breakdown of each accommodation. I'm still undecided if this would have would have been helpful or not......it may have been interesting to compare places, and may have affected feedback, as value for money is another factor." "Namibia July 2014"
There were some late changes, both on our part and Expert Africa's, which were handled very well. Things ran smoothly from collection of hire car to it's return almost two weeks later. Namibia is a great country to visit for a self-drive, we would highly recommend it as we would Expert Africa!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 12 on a Namibia trip
"Amazing trip"
Everything went well. Our scenic flights were wonderful even with some fog/haze. All the accommodation very beautiful. The people and history most interesting.
Very well organized by Maruska . We felt very well taken care of.

"My Jul 2014 trip"
The camps were mainly excellent and certainly as good as we had hoped. We had an unfortunate incident when my wife's bag was stolen from the car outside our guest house in Windhoek and the staff at Galton House couldn't have been more helpful, as were the head office staff at Wilderness Safaris in helping us resolve matters.
There is obviously quite a bit of crime in Windhoek (and possibly other towns) and travellers should be aware of this and keep their wits about them. We were identified as a target once we arrived in Windhoek while driving a hire car with South African number plates, followed, and then robbed outside our guest house in a quiet street with nobody else around. If my wife's handbag had been hidden in the back of the car or in the boot things may have been different.
However, this didn't detract from a very enjoyable three weeks in a scenically amazing country with Namibian people who made our stay memorable." Read full review: 21 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip
"My Jul 2014 trip"
The people we met were friendly and polite and their lives fascinating, being so different from ours'.
The geography of the area was beautiful, in all it's different forms. Quite stunning.
We had a great deal of very useful advice from Expert Africa and a very smooth holiday." Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 18 on a Namibia trip
"My Jun 2014 trip"
On the whole the trip was without any major hitches but I doubt that I will go back to Caprivi although I will undoubtably go back to Namibia.
I was shocked at the obvious poverty around the Divindu area and a little surprised at the obvious development and money being spent around Windhoek. I am not being critical as I am a visitor passing through but I do wonder at the lack of industry and therefore the lack of employment. There is a huge abundance of water in the Caprivi and wonder why it is not harvested and used. The weather was fantastic , the people are a charming gentle race keen to help and almost without exception polite. A very happy holiday.

"Our first trip to Africa and Namibia"
Probably the biggest challenge was driving on the "wrong" side of the road, shifting with my left hand, and turning on the windshield wipers instead of the turn signal! Most roads we traveled were paved and the gravel roads in the park were in good shape. Road signs, billboards, etc. are all in English. We traveled about 500 miles and driving yourself is easy. I highly recommend taking a car GPS and downloading the Tracks4Africa GPS map of Namibia (about $14.00 US). It was invaluable in getting around and knowing your arrival time at various destinations.
One issue was not having the most common power adapter. I had 3 sets, each with two adapters that "worked" in Africa. Although we could normally find one outlet that worked, none of the sets included the adapter that was most common. I think we needed a Type M (3 round pins in a triangular configuration).
We went to Africa prepared for the inevitable problems that we heard are common. However, we were very surprised and pleased with how smoothly everything went, especially considering that we stayed in 6 different places. Africa is a great place to visit and I plan to go back in the next few years." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 5 on a Namibia trip
"Another trip of a lifetime!!"
Everywhere we went it was noticeable that the lodge owners had only good things to say about Expert Africa and your handling agents in Southern Africa, (Wilderness Safari's?)
I would just to to say thank you so much for organising our trip. We hope to be in touch again soon to arrange another adventure!!!
