Desert Horse Inn

Standard room

Each of the 20 newer rooms at the Derest Horse Inn are built in pairs, but each has its own private entrance and verandah with a wooden table and two chairs.

On entering your room, walk into a small lounge area, with a animal skin rug on the floor and a coffee table and chairs. There is a small fridge in the corner and a tea/coffee making station.

The rooms are open plan, with the bedroom just off this small lounge. The rooms are comfortable but simply furnished with twin bed and a bedside table and lamp. At the foot of the beds are wooden luggage racks.

There is a ceiling fan, a small vanity table with a stool, and electrical sockets and mirror. There is a large wardrobe against the wall in one corner of the room.

The rooms have four large windows which let in plenty of sunlight during the day. These thick curtains can also be drawn to keep the rooms cool.

There is a ceiling fan suspended in the middle above the twin beds.

The bathroom is just off the bedroom area and is spacious, with a flush toilet, wash basin and a small table. There's a walk-in shower, walled I stone, with a large shower head and soap dispensers.

The bathroom is spacious and the décor bright – making it feel airy and cheerful.
