"EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME"

I visited Namibia between 2 Aug 2019 and 19 Aug 2019
"Thank you so much to Expert Africa and especially Maruska for making this trip possible and specifically tailored for us.

Maruska spent a lot of time tailoring the programme for us and answering ALL our questions (and we had a lot!) always in a very timely manner. Once in Namibia, everything went very smoothly and was easy.

We had an amazing time, in exceptional places and this trip would not have been possible without Maruska's help

Thank you!

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

We should do more advertisement in countries outside UK. I am a French national and my family was very keen using a French agency but after a few exchanges with Maruska I could tell she was more efficient/responsive than people at other agencies.

Great services, thank you so much!" Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"Very special place, Namibia. "

I visited Namibia between 9 Jul 2019 and 20 Jul 2019
"Utterly vast and alternately dotted with German cakes and rhino. That's Namibia. The people are lovely. The scenery staggering.

We went thinking we were going on holiday and returned realising we'd experienced the trip of a lifetime. A cliche I know but it's warranted in this case.

Make sure you've got a good set of wheels if you are travelling around (the investment in a Toyota Hilux/Ford Ranger or similar is worth it) and pray that the drought breaks soon. It's a tough and beautiful land." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 11 on a Namibia trip

"June 2019"

I visited Namibia between 28 Jun 2019 and 14 Jul 2019
"We loved our trip.

At times we found the impact of the drought challenging - particularly in Etosha. Namibia is a stunning place and a wonderful place to travel in. The standards of accommodation, food and service were far higher than we expected. At times we felt a little uncomfortable with the luxury ( in some places we had wonderful days with out with our guides but at dinner it was the white members of staff we had not really met who sat down and ate with us, for example ).

The driving was perhaps more time consuming that we had imagined and it would have helped to have an idea of the lengths of the drives at the outset with the itinerary. However, the roads were good and we had no problems. We would recommend people take lots of music and podcasts to pass the time." Read full review: 16 nights in Africa; 14 on a Namibia trip

"A magnificent trip to a fantastic country"

I visited Namibia between 18 Jun 2019 and 2 Jul 2019
"We have absolutely no negative comments. The whole trip was perfectly planned and executed. There is nothing that in retrospect we would do differently. My wishes and tastes were perfectly interpreted by your organisation.

It was a real joy to drive on those empty gravel roads for hundreds of kilometers and gave a bit of a sense of adventure. We would recommend to anyone!

Our trip was not organised by Sabine but by Josh, who has left, so my comments apply to him." Read full review: 14 nights in Africa; 10 on a Namibia trip

"My Mar 2019 trip"

I visited Namibia between 13 Mar 2019 and 2 Apr 2019
"Tom Morris has provided us with an excellent service throughout, from the initial discussions about Namibia, your knowledge of the country and helping us to think through the route, to our lodge selection, tour advice, do’s/dont’s before traveling, itinerary plans/maps etc, and finally dealing with the car issues (needed new tyres), so thank you again!

A truly first rate service!" Read full review: 20 nights in Africa; 20 on a Namibia trip

"A wonderful month away from the UK winter!"

I visited Namibia between 3 Nov 2018 and 4 Dec 2018
"This was a wonderful trip.

We were lucky to be able to spend 4 weeks in Namibia, and whilst we covered almost 6000km, we were able to spend 2 or 3 nights in all the camps to get a real feel for the various locations.

We visited some areas in the South of the country, which we hadn't been to before, and these were generally quieter and more remote than the more popular areas such as Etosha. We loved it!" Read full review: 31 nights in Africa; 26 on a Namibia trip

"My Oct 2018 trip"

I visited Namibia between 28 Oct 2018 and 7 Nov 2018
"Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Namibia; thanks Expert Africa, and Josh in particular, for helping out.

There wasn't a great connection between the map provided and the written description of the routes. For example, there were a couple of options shown for going between Aus and Swakapmund, but no description of the two routes in written material. As noted in the Bagetelle review, would strongly recommend the northern route (C21) rather than continuing south on the B1 and backtracking north.

We did see wildlife (including two separate sightings of zebras and one herd of about 50 oryx), but not usually at the lodges/camps; rather when we were driving between stays.

Though not included in our tour, we stayed at Tilla's guesthouse. It was 'no frills' as described in the guide book, but also noisy due to a caged parrot, and frankly the worst breakfast we had in our time in Africa. Staff very pleasant though."
