Very helpful staff...put us on to some excellent local activities and organised replacement of our broken hire car with Budget.

Although we arrived late someone was waiting for us. We were given information on where we could eat and a reservation was made for us. A
lso a trip to Walvis Bay was booked on our behalf for the following day. Everyone was very helpful.

Feels like home
The attention to customers put by the owner of the guesthouse is amazing. I was feeling sick, so she took care to oder and pick up some special take away food for me, and she managed to retrieve our second spare tyre.
The guesthouse is really pretty, it's basically a house that feels like home: relaxing sitting rooms, very clean rooms, great breakfast.
It's conveniently located in the center of Swakop, you can just walk to the cities best restaurants.
Definitely a very good place to stay!

Again lovely rooms here. We had a double room in the main guest house, our three boys had two twin rooms, a lovely bathroom and fridge and heater etc.
The whole place was very welcoming. We were invited to have a sherry in the lounge, in fromt of the real fire. We had booked activities to do in Swakopmund (quad biking, kayaking and living desert tour). The lady on reception phoned to confirm one of the bookings for us, then printed off the map that we needed.
Breakfast was great again and done early to fit in with our early start for the kayaking.

Room 1 was very hot (faces the sun all day!). Also, night porter/guard outside during night on security duty. Good to feel safe but could hear mobile phone calls!
Very helpful owner and staff pulled out all the stops when the area experienced a power cut!

Good location and very helpful reception staff who booked restaurants for us. Free internet access was appreciated. The breakfast buffet was varied and eggs were cooked to order. After consulting the reception staff we walked to the restaurants, taking minimal valuables, and felt safe doing so, despite reports of muggings on tourists. We would recommend the seafood at both The Tug and especially The Jetty. We enjoyed exceptional weather while at Swakopmund and would have appreciated more time there as there is plenty to see and do both there and at Walvis Bay.

Young lady on reception could not have been more helpfull, making dinner reservations, sorting out an issue with the hire car, and general advice. A real credit to the guesthouse.

Lovely hotel, very helpful staff.
