Estuary Tree Houses
This was magical. we would stay here again and wished that we had 3-4 nights in Swakop. The rooms were magical. The breakfasts great and everyone as helpful as they could be. Meals in the town were also very good and good value.
The Kayaking with Jean is another thing we would repeat as it was a fantastic experience. You may like to up-date your brochure as I am not sure she does the lagoon kayaking now as it is silting up.
The dunes and the coast were incredible. We would like to go back to dune board and do the zip wire as well as the living dersert trip. It would be helpful to have more links to work these things out before you go. The distance to the Welwitschia drive was not something I had appreciated from the brochure.
Wonderful location and excellent facilities
Superb buildings and the location right on the river/sea was just what we had asked for. The rooms had not only heaters but also an electric blanket which was just what we needed as it was very cold at night.
Good receommendations were given for dinner and bookings made. The resturanats were very good and the staff at the stiltz were very friendly and helpful. No safe in the room but the office provided security for any personal items.
Swakopmund was a good stop over and we could easliy have stayed longer if time had allowed.

very unusual accommodation with a stunning seaview. Breakfasts were excellent, staff very helpful.
The staff suggested a restaurant the first night. They organised the booking of the restaurant & a taxi. They suggest
De Kelder Restaurant, a small local restaurant. Absolutly fantastic.
Good base for Swakopmund
