The Stiltz: video gallery

The Stiltz: picture gallery

Overlooking the Swakop River, The Stiltz is situated on the edge of the small town of Swakopmund.
Its quirky design has all of its rooms raised up on stilts, which is where its name came from.
The main communal area includes the breakfast room,…
…which is bright and cheery…
…and from where guests can watch the scenery, and the birds, while they eat.
The wooden walkways link the nine high-quality chalets.
The chalets are clean and comfortable,..
…they have thatched roofs and small balconies overlooking the riverbed.
Each room has a different colour scheme,…
… an en-suite bathroom with a large shower and fluffy towels.
There is also a minibar….
…most chalets have small sofas or sitting chairs and a tea and coffee station.
Two larger villas are also part of the Stiltz…
… more luxurious than the smaller but still lovely chalets.
They include a big sitting area with views above the Swakop River, and a large en-suite bathroom...
…as well as a dining room table.
The rooms look out over the slightly out of town location...
...which includes the Swakop River.
