You'll be met on arrival at Windhoek Airport and transferred by road into Windhoek city. Here you'll overnight at a comfortable guesthouse and have the afternoon free to relax by the pool or take a short taxi ride into the city centre to stroll around the shops and street markets. Dinner isn't included this evening so that you can choose to dine out at one of Windhoek's many eateries or stay in for dinner at the welcoming Olive Grove.

Set off on your fly-in adventure with a light aircraft flight to the Palmwag Reserve in northern Damaraland. Thanks to the continuous dedication of Save the Rhino Trust, this unique wilderness area is home to the largest concentration of black rhino anywhere outside of a national park. The semi-arid terrain is striking. Vast basalt strewn plains and mountain plateaus are intersected by ephemeral river valleys. A surprising amount of wildlife is found here, if you know where to look. Your local guide will take you on 4WD excursions to search for game, particularly black rhino which you may also track on foot. Return to your tented accommodation each night at the wonderfully remote Desert Rhino Camp.

Fly east to the southern boundary of Namibia's premier game reserve, Etosha National Park. You stay two nights inside the private Ongava Game Reserve which borders onto Etosha, spending your days on game drives in both wildlife areas. Explore Etosha's network of roads and waterholes in the mornings and enjoy further game viewing on the Ongava Reserve in the afternoons. From the comfort of your lodge you can also watch animals come in to drink at the floodlit waterhole that lies below your elevated vantage point at Ongava Lodge.

Today you travel by road through Etosha National Park in an open 4WD vehicle. A full day of game viewing takes you across to the eastern boundary of Etosha where you'll spend two nights on the private Onguma Game Reserve. Your two daily activities here explore the eastern side of Etosha as well as the Onguma Reserve. The varying habitats over this side attract a different mix of animals, some of which you may not have spotted so far. Wildlife may also been seen at the floodlit waterhole beside your tented accommodation at Onguma Tented Camp.

See Namibia's rolling Central Highlands by road today as you are transferred south to the base of the Omboroko Mountains. Here you stay on the Hanssen family's ranch; once a livestock farm and now a wildlife reserve which is also home to the AfriCat Foundation. The activities here give you an insight to the research and rehabilitation of Namibia's predators, as well as the opportunity to see some of these magnificent creatures up close. Track leopard by 4WD vehicle and cheetah or spotted hyena on foot; visit the education centre; see nocturnal wildlife at a night hide and maybe take a fascinating 'Bushmen' trail. There's also time to relax and enjoy your lovely bush setting at Okonjima Main Camp.
