. For these two nights you are conveniently based within the park to spend your days game driving in your hire car. Take time at wildlife sightings and to watch interaction at waterholes, returning by sunset each evening to enjoy more animal antics at the floodlit waterhole beside Okaukuejo Camp.
2 nights at Onguma Tented Camp (half board) | Etosha National Park, Namibia
Venture further into Etosha National Park
and drive alongside the famous Etosha Pan
as you cross to the eastern boundary for a two night stay on the private Onguma Game Reserve
. From here you can explore the eastern side of Etosha as well as join any of the optional guided activities available from the lovely Onguma Tented Camp.
1 night at Okonjima Main Camp (half board) | Central Highlands, Namibia
Drive south to overnight at Okonjima
which is situated within the scenic rolling hills of Namibia's Central Highlands
. Okonjima is renowned for the AfriCat Foundation
which aims to protect Africa's predators, in particular cheetah and leopard. You may like to arrive in time to join an optional guided activity this afternoon, giving you the chance to see one of these magnificent creatures and learn about the dedicated work of the foundation. Conclude your day with a visit to the night hide after dinner where nocturnal wildlife such as porcupine may be seen, before retiring to your 'garden room' at Okonjima Main Camp.
It's about three hours' drive back to Windhoek Airport, ensuring you arrive in good time to drop off your rental car and check-in for your scheduled overnight flight back to the UK with South African Airways
