Main description of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge
The buildings of Waterberg Wilderness Lodge lie sheltered in a long valley in the midst of the Waterberg massif. Built from red Waterberg sandstone they are nestled under enormous old trees. In the mature, well-kept garden with its two pavilions and the bricked-in spring water basin lined by giant bamboo the atmosphere is idyllic and there are many cool and shaded spaces. In the afternoon guests are welcome to have a piece of cake in the tea garden, and afterwards join our guide on a scenic drive, if they wish.
The place for a drink after sunset is the campfire or the fireplace at the bar. Fresh dishes from the typically Namibian farmhouse kitchen are served for dinner.
