Pleasant and peaceful stay
Peaceful location within a short drive of the city centre with a warm welcome from the host and a generous breakfast.

We stayed at Haus Sonneneck both on our way in to Namibia and on our last night.
It is such a wonderful and comfortable place to stay. My husband and I really enjoyed the location, which is a quick drive from downtown Windhoek, but in a quiet residential neighborhood that is slower-paced. The service is very pleasant and the managers are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with nice enclosed outdoor patios.
Wonderful, comfortable base
Haus Sonneneck was the perfect entry/exit stop for our self-drive in Namibia.
It's outside of downtown Windhoek, so it's a nice, quiet neighborhood, but downtown is easily accessible. The owner is wonderful and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. I loved the little cookies on our pillows!

A nice place to rest in. Spacious room and bathroom. Own backyard.

This was a lovely introduction to our holiday.
It is easy to find from the airport in a quiet, peaceful part of town. It is in easy reach of Joe's beer house although we ate at Luigi's fish restaurant as recommended by our hostess. Luigi's was an excellent choice.

We stayed there two nights -- our first night and last night of the trip.
The place was lovely. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The owner and family were very nice and helpful. The owner even loaned us an adapter for the trip, which we returned on our way out. The two dogs that reside there were marvelous.
We definitely recommend this place to stay.
