Room spacious and well appointed. We were welcomed. Everyone helpful.
Shame about the building work nearby.
Hilltop House review
Great little place to stay as a base for an evening in Windhoek, conveniently located close to Joe's Beer House.
Clean and tidy, quiet and friendly. Owner was happy to advise us on our trip before setting off, especially all the good places to stop for cake and coffee in Namibia!
Hilltop House review
A great place to use to get over the flight before setting out to explore Namibia.
All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with nice breakfasts brought to your room. Need a taxi or a reservation "No problem" Alan is happy to help.
Good location for Joe's Beer House or Luigi and the Fish, both 5 mins in a taxi. A supermarket is not far away for most things, even adapters for the sockets.

Had difficulty in finding the place as the roads didn't match the map. We arrived quite late and rather tired, hoping for a light meal to find there were none available as the cook was not there so we had to go out to eat - well located near Joe's Beerhouse.
The room was great and there was a warm welcome.

Our last day and night in Namibia could not have been spent in a more lovely place. A house that had been a photographer's studio was beautifully decorated and was the owners' home and we felt welcomed as such.
They booked a local restaurant for us, gave us guidance on Windhoek and breakfast was served in our room on the veranda. Lovely.

Hilltop House was our first place we stayed in Namibia. So we arrived straight from a long flight. The staff were friendly and kind and particularly the Tanzanian gentleman who saw to our every need. The owner, whom we met later on, was also extremely courteous and keen that we should have all that we needed.
We were given two lovely rooms, particularly liked the bath products (Roobus !) and the atmosphere that we were in a home rather than a hotel. Very personal feel to it and for me, introducing my three sons to Africa, this was so good. I think it would be helpful to have sent more directions for us driving from the airport to Hilltop as I had to ask for these over the phone a few days prior to departure. Glad I did as we would have not found it too easy to find!
Hillop has a lovely garden - my sons spotted mongoose and lizards! The pool was cold but I swam and loved it! Superb breakfasts and sandwhich lunches all beautifully presented for us with flowers. Sadly, we forgot our packed lunches the next day! Great, individual place which we all loved.
