[Ed: See the review below that these travellers wrote at the start of their trip. They commented:
"Easy to find prominent location. Comfortable, clean first floor room with a view. Beautiful gardens and pool. Great birds. Hospitable and helpful - an ideal place to start and/or finish one's trip to Namibia."
good starting point to our trip
Lovely friendly place. I would recommend this as a place to recover after the flight prior to starting a journey through Namibia.
Though I wouldn't stay in for the dinner again it was OK for 2 tired travellers.
Terra Africa review
OK for an overnight stop only. The young man on the desk was very helpful with arranging our taxi into Windhoek and suggestions for lunch. Breakfast was poor both in presentation and content, which was surprising when you see the beautifully presented garden and the care that has gone into that.
Enjoyed a very good meal at NICE in the evening.
Ideal to start or end a visit to Nam.

Terra Africa review
Some mixed information from the owners gave our visit to Windhoek a slightly shaky start.
Good location for finding our way to the airport on our day of departure.
Comfortable and friendly
We stayed here twice, both just "stopovers" whilst passing through Windhoek, and it was ideal for this. Good value, safe, friendly, easy to find and good quality rooms, if nothing exceptional.
Rolf made us feel very welcome, and helped us with dinner bookings, taxis, airline check in etc etc.
Not alot else to add, would recommend for the purposes we used it for.
Terra Africa review
Terra Africa was a perfect B&B for our first night.
It was a very comfortable and pretty place to sleep and recover from the flight and also to explore Windhoek from (though not really by foot as it is a bit out of the centre).
The owner, Rolf, was extremely friendly and helpful.
Relaxing day in Windhoek
Good overnight stop with pleasant friendly staff, definitely recommended.
A stop over in or near Windhoek after a long overnight flight is a good idea and supermarkets are well stocked for travel requirements. There seemed to be more evidence of crime prevention fencing than 3 years ago.
Ok for a one night stop over
Very helpful staff. Interesting place. They have made the best possible use of a small space to create a very attractive garden. Good breakfast.
We were only here for one night but I don't think we would have wanted to stay longer. The hotel is on a corner on a very busy dual carriageway and currently overlooks building work on the adjacent government building (as a result the meerkats mentioned on their website have moved away).
It was a bit disconcerting when we went out to dinner to find the public areas were in darkness with no staff around at all.
