Press articlesOur trips are frequently featured by the press, and we also regularly organise trips for high-quality journalists who choose us to arrange their travel to Africa. A few of these articles are online, and some of these are listed here. Click on the titles below to see the articles. Rwanda: The hairy 31-stone beast of a bloke my wife fell in love with, by Jeremy ThompsonThe Daily Mail – 22 March 2009 Jeremy Thompson is Sky News's Africa Correspondent, and this was a special trip for his wife's 50th birthday. They visited the Gorillas in Rwanda, seeing how the country continues to move of from the troubles of its past; then flew to Tanzania, to visit the Serengeti under Canvas camp, and the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge. Quite a trip, and Jeremy's account includes some interesting insights, as you'd expect. Zimbabwe: A beautiful land in need of a change of fortune, by Jeremy LauranceThe Independent – 28 February 2009 It is over ten years since the travel section of The Independent carried any feature on Zimbabwe. Road to nowhere, by Tom RobbinsThe Observer – 16 September 2007 We sent Tom Robbins, the Observer's Deputy Travel Editor, on an epic 2,000-mile fly-drive across the Namib Desert to Swakopmund and Etosha. His superb piece paints an excellent picture of the whole experience – and he includes stops at Windhoek's Olive Grove, the Naukluft's Zebra River Lodge and Kulala Wilderness Camp - and in Etosha National Park. Wet and wild, by Mark HodsonThe Sunday Times – 18 March 2007 We sent Mark Hodson out to Zambia's Luangwa Valley during the 'emerald season' – when the rain is falling, the grass is high and the park is, in some ways, at its most amazing.
