The Lodge rooms at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel are situated behind the main reception area and car park in a neat little garden. They still have a small balcony where you can relax away from the main areas. The terraced rooms are one long row – and though they are slightly lacking in privacy, they're a little quieter than the main areas nearer to the beach.

The interiors of the rooms are very similar to Superior chalets, the key difference is really the location, the privacy and the size (the Lodge rooms are slightly smaller). Inside you will still find a cool light room, with a lovely large Zanzibari bed draped in mosquito netting.

All the Lodge rooms have electronic safes, air-conditioning and fans.

The bathrooms in the Lodge rooms at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel all have an en-suite flush toilet and hot-and-cold showers – with plenty of hot water. They're very clean and well-kept, but also very dated.
