There are eight Sea View Rooms in bungalows, which sit in the gardens of sunrise facing out towards the sea. None are especially fancy, but all are clean and comfortable and come complete with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and 24-hour electricity.

The bungalows are all decorated with cream tiled floors, white-washed walls and are furnished with lovely Zanzibari furniture. Each of the rooms has double or twin Zanzibari beds with mosquito nets, a lounge chair and vanity table.

Though the soft furnishings are a little haphazard, the rooms are perfectly comfortable and relatively large - some with space for an additional single bed. There is also plenty of hanging space for clothes and a spacious en-suite.

All the en-suite bathrooms were retiled in 2004, and they still look quite new with sparklingly clean white tiles. Though the bathrooms are not flashy they are very functional, with a proper flush toilet, a sink and hot-and-cold shower. The water from the taps is slightly brackish so you cannot drink it, but free bottled water is provided.
