Burchell's zebra safari
The
Busanga Plains, in the remote north of
Kafue National Park are the focus of this luxurious safari staying at two newly-refurbished camps – Lufupa Tented Camp and Shumba Bushcamp; it's a great safari to see a stunning area from its first really luxurious safari camps – and this area has Zambia's best population of cheetah, as well as excellent wild dog, lion and leopard.
Because of the black-cotton soil that is found in the Kafue, these camps are only open during
the dry season in Zambia, between May and October.
