Buzzard fly-in



This short classic 12 day fly-in trip toNamibia, concentrating on the north of the country – and especially on the superb game-viewing area of Etosha National Park –and finishing at Okonjima, home of the Africat Foundation, on the way back.

Day 1
Depart London Heathrow – scheduled flights, via Johannesburg, to Windhoek.

Day 2 Windhoek, Namibia
Olive Grove On arrival at the Windhoek airport you are met and transferred to your guest house. You will spend the night at -

Days 3-4 Damaraland, Namibia
Desert Rhino Camp Your will embark on a flight to Northern Damaraland in the heart of the Kaokoveld's mountains for a 2-night stay. This is a remote area with the highest density of black rhinos in Namibia – its arid and rocky, but with a surprising amount of wildlife if you know where to look. It's the perfect area for 4WD excursions to search for game, and particularly rhinos, and to track them on foot. Here you'll stay at –
Desert Rhino Camp (full board & activities)

Days 5-6 Etosha National Park, Namibia
Ongava Lodge Light aircraft transfer from Palmwag to spend 2 nights exploring the amazing Etosha National Park with the help of a professional guide who knows the park intimately. Etosha's a vast park, and there's always something to see here. Sit by some of the waterholes that circle the remarkable pan and wait as the wildlife come to drink, then at the end of the day return to the luxury of the very comfortable –
Ongava Lodge (full board & activities)

Days 7-8 Etosha National Park, Namibia
Travel by open 4WD on a game drive/transfer through Etosha National Park for your two night stay. With your chalet nestled in the branches of a tree, overlooking a waterhole, this is a great place to feel at one with nature. From here you can explore the eastern side of the park, led by the camp's experienced guides. Here you will be staying at –

Days 9-10 Central Highlands, Namibia
Okonjima Bush Camp After two spectacular days exploring the spectacular Etosha National Park, you'll fly southwards along Namibia's rolling central highlands, arriving at Okonjima, base of the Africat Foundation. Day 11
Scheduled seat in plane air transfer from Okonjima to Windhoek to connect with your scheduled flights via Johannesburg back to the UK.

Day 12
You arrive back at London Heathrow early in the morning, with time to connect onto other flights, or journey back to your home in the UK, quite easily.
