This Botswana safari concentrates on two areas within the Okavango Delta, staying at luxurious camps: you will spend 3 nights at Baines' Camp, in the south-eastern corner of the Delta - with a chance to participate in a fascinating elephant experience; and then 3 nights at Chief's Camp, situated on the game-rich Chief's Island, part of the Moremi Reserve.

Day 1

Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight with South African Airways or British Airways will take you to Johannesburg.

Days 2-4 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

In Jo'burg you'll connect to a 2-hour scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun. From there you'll be flown by light aircraft over the Okavango Delta to a remote airstrip. A game drive through pretty floodplains takes you to your base for the next 3 nights' –

Baines' Camp (full board & activities)

Days 5-7 Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana

A 30 minute light aircraft flight takes you to Chief's Island in the Moremi Reserve. You'll then drive though forests, woodlands and open glades – all rich with game and birdlife – and usually reach camp in time for afternoon tea and an afternoon safari activity. There is sure to be plenty of wildlife activity during your 3 nights at –

Chiefs Camp

Day 8

You'll most likely have time for a morning safari drive before a short (30 minutes) light aircraft flight from Chief's Camp to Maun. There you'll connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto your overnight flight back to London Heathrow.

Day 9

Arriving back in London Heathrow, early in the morning, it's hardly as appealing as being in Botswana – but then you will have had a superb safari!
