Duiker II safari

This excellent safari spends 8 nights on safari in Zambia, split between two of its best safari parks – South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi National Park – where you concentrate on walking, driving and boating safaris; and finishes with 2 nights at Livingstone, to enjoy the magnificent spectacle of Victoria Falls. All of these places would benefit from a little more safari time from you, but this trip is gives a very good overview at a relaxed pace.

This safari is really designed for Zambia's dry season, from around mid-April to mid-November. Outside of this time, Chiawa Camp closes, and this safari is not possible.

Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled British Airways overnight flight will take you directly to Lusaka.

Days 2-6 South Luangwa National Park, Zambia
Nkwali Arriving in Lusaka in the morning, you'll transfer to a flight to Mfuwe (about 70 minutes) located near the South Luangwa National Park. There you'll be met and driven by open 4WD for about an hour, to arrive at camp in time for a superb lunch. Here you'll stay for 5 nights at the delightful –
Nkwali (full board & activities)

Days 7-9 Lower Zambezi National Park, Zambia
Chiawa Camp After a relaxing stay, you'll be driven back to Mfuwe airport to fly to the Lower Zambezi National Park (via Lusaka). On arrival at Royal airstrip, you will be met and taken to your camp on the banks of the Zambezi River where you will be staying for the next 3 nights
Chiawa Camp (full board & activities)

Days 10-11 Livingstone & Victoria Falls, Zambia
Tongabezi After a short drive to Jeki airstrip, and a quick (20 minute) flight to Lusaka, you connect on to a flight to Livingstone which takes about an hour. A driver will be waiting to drive you to a lovely spot beside the Zambezi River, where you'll stay for 2 nights at the luxurious –
Tongabezi (full board & activities)

Day 12
At about midday, you will be transferred to Livingstone airport for your flight to Jo'burg, to connect to the overnight British Airways flight back directly to London Heathrow.

Day 13
You'll arrive back into London Heathrow in the early morning – after an unforgettable safari in Zambia.
